Do we want water or not?

Mixed messages in todays farming news. Do we want water or not?

From conversations about farming through 3 years of drought and an earthquake in North Canterbury. To  “No more rain please”, a request from Manawatu farmers, as winter is yet to start but their fields are already sodden. Then to top it all off, the government has decided to inject a cool $90 million into irrigation.

Water and climate, the two big topics of the moment. Soil interactions play an important role; water storage, filtration and movement all need to be considered….
