Hons Postgrad Intro – Samuel Whitley

Samuel Whitley is currently studying for an Honours degree in the field of Soil Science at Lincoln University. Associate Professor Peter Almond is supervising this research.
“I grew up in Vanuatu where Agriculture is the main source of export income, so I decided to study it and possibly contribute to development back home. I quickly became excited about Soils, mainly due to the passion of the professors, and I have never looked back.
Currently I am doing an Honours project under Peter Almond, about possible amendments that may be able to adsorb phosphorus and clarify the water of Te Waihora/Ellesmere. Its all very exciting… but busy. 😊”
